  • What are the requirements for applying to the SIMS MBA program?
    Students should have passed their UG degree with 50% minimum, and should have appeared for MAT/TANCET/CMAT.  Students can also join SIMS without these exams, however, students should just be present for CET test organised by consortium. Admission will be based on merit and overall academic performance.
  • Should I take any particular courses to prepare for the MBA?
    While we have no prerequisites for enrolment, students with limited quantitative backgrounds may benefit from taking accounting and business statistics in advance of enrolment. Becoming comfortable with Excel would also be valuable. In addition, the MBA Program offers pre-term courses during orientation which provide brief overviews of accounting, quantitative methods, finance, and/or Excel.

  • Is there an age limit for applying to the Full-time MBA Program?
    No. We accept applications without any age discrimination. Our average students age is 28 and the ages range from early 20's to late 30's.

  • Should I have to be concerned if I am not from Tamil Nadu?
  • At SIMS, we have students from various states, hence, students who are not from Tamil Nadu need not be concerned, as English is the language spoken by staff and most students, and also at SIMS the environment is friendly.
