Unnat Bharat Abhiyan

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is a flagship programme of the Ministry of Human Resource Development that aims to enrich Rural India as a part of rural transformation. The UBA second edition was launched in April 2018. Sankara College of Science and Commerce is a part of UBA programme in promoting the growth of selected clustered villages as a part of institutional social responsibility. National Service Scheme (NSS) units implemented the programme. Ministry of HRD, under Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, Sankara College of Science and Commerce has selected five villages for organizing Swatch Bharat Activities.

Seed Money Received

Unnat Bharat Abhiyan is inspired by the vision of transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India. Seed Money of Rs.50,000/- received from MHRD in the year 2018 to organize UBA activities as a part of rural transformation. Details of cluster villages, adopted villages and UBA activities with detailed report given below.
