Training Schemes and Activities

The Training and Placement cell has collaborations with leading placement training providers and corporate to provide comprehensive job oriented training with various schemes and activities. The training schemes and programmes are Campus to Corporate (C2C) Placement Preparatory, Skill Development and Career Craft , ICT Skill Enhancement, Divyangjan Skill Development, Life Skills etc to boost the skill set of students and give them what industry expects. The following are schemes and activities provided to make students industry ready and to face challenges during the recruitment process.

C2C Placement Preparatory Programme

The institution collaborated with leading placement training provider (EIDOS Pvt. Ltd) to give C2C training to all students on various skill sets required for a successful career. Students are trained in soft skills, communication skills, aptitude and reasoning for written exams, grooming, hygiene, resume writing, personality development, career counseling, mock interviews and other topics. The training module’s content is tailored to each stream (Commerce, Science, Hotel Management, and Management) in order to provide students with the necessary professional and employability skills. The following are the modules where the students are given training.

1. Soft Skills and Language Enhancement Program – I Year UG
2. Banking and Competitive Exam Preparation – II Year UG
3. Soft Skills and Campus to Corporate Connect – III Year UG
3. Personality Enhancement Program (PEP) – I Year MBA
4. Verbal Ability and Aptitude and Campus to Corporate Connect – II Year MBA

Objectives
1. Guiding the students in a right direction through continuous counseling
2. Developing the skill sets of the students towards their career

Skill Development and Career Craft Programme

The institution signed MoUs with Infosys, UTL Technologies, TCS, and other MNC’s and provides training to enhance students’ skill sets. The trainers from corporate and subject related experts are invited to up skill the students on current employability needs. The students learn about work ethics, attitude, communication skills, emotional intelligence and other personal attributes that are crucial for a successful profession and life. The training assists the students in developing skills and job search methods to accomplish their professional goals.

Objectives
1. To improve technical and soft skills in terms of career planning and goal setting
2. To inculcate essential employability and workplace competencies
3. To empower students with strong work ethics
4. To solve the problems creatively, handle conflicts and enable work-life balance

ICT Skill Enhancement Programme

ICT Skill Enhancement Training Programme aids the students to face the industry 4.0 and also helps them in equipping with relevant computing skills which they need in current education era. The training programmes are devised, customized and delivered to impart the relevant skills to suit the employer needs. The Institution offers ICT training in Tally with GST, Advanced Excel, Word Processing, Adobe Photoshop, Operating System Installation & Trouble Shooting, PHP, Python etc which opens various avenues in job market. In addition to this the college has collaborated with ICT Academy for various ICT skill development and career guidance programmes.

Objectives
1. To get a new perspective on ICT tools
2. To integrate ICT into learning and Professional Upgrading
3. To develop digital literacy to face the digital era

Divyangjan Skill Development Programme

The institution offers Skill and Professional development training programmes with an endeavor to empower the Divyangjan students to utilize the opportunities available in the industrial sectors. We provide extensive corporate training for the Divyangjan Students (Speech and Hearing impaired) in association with Infosys BPM, CTS Outreach, Youth For Jobs etc. This capability enhancement and development programmes are the stimulating factors in getting the special students corporate-ready.

Objectives
1. To ensure that students with impairments have equitable access to educational opportunities
2. To meet the pedagogical requirements of students with learning impairments
