Diploma in Hotel Management

The Diploma in Catering Science and Hotel Management Department was founded in 2012 and is one of the premier Hotel Management institutes in India, offering a two-year diploma programme affiliated with the Bharat Sevak Samaj, Chennai. The four primary departments of hotel management are food production, food and beverage service, front office operations, and housekeeping management. A student who attends this institution will be professionally prepared in all of these key topics and will be able to pursue one of them as a career in the hotel industry. The objective of the department is to encourage students to focus on all-around growth and to inculcate in them the value of obtaining multi-skills, which are in great demand in the hospitality sector in the new century.

To mould students to meet the demands of the Hotel Industry, the Department has fully qualified and eminent teachers with significant expertise in Food Production, Bakery, Service and Accommodation. The Department includes well-equipped labs to assist students in improving their practical expertise. To address the rising need for student talents, the department often conducts culinary festivals, Guest Lectures, workshops, seminars, and a variety of other events.

BUDDING Hotelier Association Newsletter

The Association was founded with the primary goal of exposing aspiring hoteliers and young hotel management students to the challenges of the industry. The association is active in the planning and integration of student technical and practical activities, as well as promoting students’ culinary skills and to provide awareness on the current trends of the Industry. The association organizes a variety of activities and events in order to shed light on the current state of the hospitality industry. The association provides numerous opportunities for students to strengthen their presentation abilities, practical skills, and leadership traits, allowing students to develop their whole personalities.
