B.Sc Computer Science

Overview
The Department of Computer Science & Applications established in the year 1991 and provides high quality undergraduate and graduate education in computer science and applications by enhancing teaching effectiveness and facilities for students to access and gain practical experience. The Department is unique in terms of identifying the hidden talents of the students by conducting International Conferences, National Level Hackathon and Skill Development Programmes. The Department provides effective academic advising to promote student learning and development outcomes and the Department will serve the Parent University and the nation through the practice of professional activities and service in the computing field.
The Training for the students is provided from the beginning of the semester for better placements at the end of the Year. The Students are given all the freedoms to conduct the programmes which are emerging and make them actively contributing their knowledge to grow in their careers.

To create the most conducive environment for quality academic and Industry ready for undergraduate education in computer science and data analytics and prepare the students for a globalized technological society and orient them towards serving the society.
Mission
The mission of the Computer Science Department is to prepare students for careers as Software Professionals, Government Sectors, Entrepreneurship and for advanced studies in Computer Science and lifelong learning.
