An exclusive Controller of Examinations (CoE) office was established on the campus after the institution was conferred Autonomous status in 2023. This was done to meet the requirements of being an autonomous institution, governed by the regulations of the UGC, State Government, and Bharathiar University. The CoE Office is responsible for conducting Continuous Internal Assessments and Comprehensive External Examinations, declaring results, processing transcripts, and organizing annual graduations. It takes several initiatives to ensure better standards by utilizing day-to-day technology for best practices and outcomes. The Examination Section is headed by the Chief Controller of Examinations, The Principal, and is administered by the Controller of Examinations. It is assisted by the Additional Controller of Examinations and Administrative staff of the Section.

Dr. C. Boopathi, Ph.D., is the Controller of Examinations and Professor of Commerce. He  his graduation in Commerce and earned his research degree in Finance from Bharathiar University. He has two decades of teaching experience and more than a decade of administration and research experience. He has also been recognized as a research supervisor, supervising scholars leading to M.Phil. and Ph.D. research programs under Bharathiar University. He has produced eight M.Phil. and one Ph.D. Scholar. He has completed sixteen online courses and attended fifty plus workshops, seminars, and conferences at the national and international levels. He has served as an external examiner for awarding M.Phil. degrees under Madurai Kamaraj University. He has published nineteen plus research articles in national and international journals and is a member of professional bodies. He has compiled a book with an ISBN as an outcome of the seminar/conference. He is also the recipient of a UGC minor project, Seed money project, and the received Best Research Supervisor Award – 2020.

Mr. Maruthasala Prabu T is the Deputy Controller of Examinations and Assistant Professor in the Department of Catering Science & Hotel Management. With almost 20 years of academic and industrial experience, he holds a graduate degree in Catering Science and Hotel Management from Bharathiar University and a postgraduate MBA from Annamalai University. He is UGC NET qualified and currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Management.

In addition to his core responsibilities, he actively engages in Faculty Development Programs, seminars, and workshops, consistently promoting best practices in teaching pedagogy and hospitality management. His key academic contributions include serving as the Board of Studies Chairman and member for Bharathiar University on various occasions, chairing the Question Paper Setting & Scrutiny Board for Periyar University and Madurai Kamaraj University, and being a university nominee member in the Board of Studies for various autonomous colleges.

He is a lifetime member of the Indian Tourism and Hospitality Congress, a member of the South India Chef’s Association, and serves as a Sustainability Education Trainer for the “Feed the Planet” Program by the World Chef Association. His dedication to academic excellence was recognized when he was honored with the Best Faculty Award in 2015.
