A Ph.D in HR, and an alumni of IIM A, a Management Practitioner, consultant, with 12 years of Industrial experience in Government of India, served in several parts of the country in HR and was a pioneer in developing and initiating HRIS in Defence sectors in India. He served in various capacities as HR Professional in various parts of the country.
Besides his industrial experience in HR, he was Director for 6 years in Management Institutions and A Grade B-Schools in Kerala. He was Director for SNGIST, Kochi, Kerala, where he introduced 09 PG Courses in Management Sciences and other Professional PG courses, also established the first Student Exchange programme with B-Schools from the North India, besides he was the Dean and Director of Holy Grace Academy of Management, a Residential B-School, which was the first B-School to introduce the Foreign Internships in Kerala, as a part of the management programme, also hosted the International Conferences, South India Management Fests, and brought in innovative teaching practices in management schools in kerala.
With a total of 19 yrs of experience in management, he holds the distinction of being the first FOUNDER DIRECTOR for school for Learning Disabilities in Kerala, for Children upto 10th std in a residential CBSE School, in Mala. He was the founder President of JCI Chapter, JCI SNGIST, in Kochi, and also the founder Director for M-TRAC Management Advisory Services India Pvt Ltd, Kovai, a consulting firm in operation.
Currently under his stewardship, SIMS is taking a revamped structure in terms of infrastructure and its approach towards management education. He is the Chair for the Four National Conferences to be held in this semester and besides the restructured work culture is contributing the maximum to the benefit of the student community. Students from North East and Eastern Sectors have stepped in SIMS for their management education.
He has presented 13 papers in national and international conferences and has published papers in HR in books as chapters, and his subject area books in HR areas under editing to be released next academic year. Value added vocational management courses, certificate courses and Student Exchange Programmes are in the offing for the present batch of students under his leadership.
He believes in democratizing the education and learning process, which is taking fruition with lot of activity oriented learning. He is counselor for research and active member for KMA (Kerala Management Association) Kochi for PGTRM, and also a member in the professional management bodies like, CMA, NIPM and AIMA.
